Report a name

Last updated 15 July 2026

If a producer name on dmo.studio is yours and you did not put it there, tell us and we will look at it.

What this page is for

Producer names on DMO come from the credits on the music itself — the people who made a beat are written into it. Sometimes a name is written down wrong, and sometimes a name is written down that should not be there at all. Either way, this is where to say so.

You do not need an account, and you do not need to have used DMO before.

What to tell us

  • The exact name or web address you are writing about — the more precise, the faster this goes.
  • Whether you want the name taken off, corrected, or the page taken down.
  • Anything that helps us place you: a link to your music elsewhere, a release you are credited on, a profile that carries the same name.
  • How to reach you.

Send that to us — write to us by post at 66 Paul Street, Shoreditch, London EC2A 4NA. A person reads it. We will tell you what we have done.

What we can and cannot do

We can act on our own records. We can take a name off the credits on a release, correct a spelling, stop a page using a name, and release a username so it is free again.

What we cannot do is decide who you are. DMO Studio Ltd does not verify anybody's identity — that is stated plainly in the agreement every producer here signs, and it does not change because a complaint arrives. So when we act, we are acting on what our records say, not certifying a finding about a person. If two people tell us the same name is theirs, we will not guess: we will ask both for more, and until it is clear we will usually take a name off rather than hand it to somebody.

What reporting does not do

Telling us about a name does not take anything offline on its own, and nothing here happens automatically. If it did, anybody could close somebody else's shop by typing their name into this page. A person looks at every report.

It also does not undo a sale that already happened, remove your name from a file somebody has already downloaded, or change anything on a service that is not ours.

If you have an account here

You may not need this page. A producer who is credited on somebody else's upload gets that credit in their inbox to accept or reject — sign in and check there first, because that route is immediate and this one is not.
